Our client is seeking to extend their 1930’s detached Metropolitan home. Originally designed and constructed by the metropolitan railway company, the house was previously extended 30 years ago. The intent is to incorporate a contemporary single storey summer room extension to the rear of the property with ample views to the rear garden. Natural light into the space is key given that the garden is north facing. The extension will be finished with large double glazed doors and windows to the rear and a composite black timber cladding.
